When I took a printmaking class in undergrad I got to do a linocut piece. I knew from the very beginning that I wanted to compliment the flat colors that are inherent to linocut with detailed negative space. I decided I wanted to do an animal because I wanted to incorporate movement with a hair texture. Also, goats are awesome.
